Olympos: Olympos was one of the 6 major cities of Lycian Federation in 2nd B.C.E. In antiquity the Gods and Goddesses had 20 residences, called Mount Olympos. 16 of them are in Turkey. Lycian Olympos (8000ft.), called Tahtali Dagi, dominates the eastern shores of Lycia. The settlement of Olympos is on the west end of the beach stretching in front our pension. It is in a well protected gorge, built on two banks of a river. One can walk to the site on the beach or hike to it over fertile lands, pomegranate orchards, ancient graveyards, pine forests, looking at the great views of the mountain Olympos. | | Transportation | » By Car
Drive west from Antalya. After Tekirova and turn south(left) from the Cirali (7km) sign. Total distance from Antalya to Cirali sign is 73km.

Take Antalya - Kas bus and tell the driver to get off at Cirali junction. It will take about one and a half hours to get there. At Cirali junction, there is a taxi stand. Taxis charge around $7 to go to Emek Pension. | | Airport | Antalya |
